The Artist AR350 was one of the top notch models in the Artist series and first issued in 1984. The AR350 was the tremolo version of the AR300 and shared its construction features like a double cutaway as well as the Les Paul like selection of woods: A solid Mahogany body with maple top, a maple neck and an ebony fretboard.
First Ibanez used its own trem construction, the Pro-Rocker, which in 1986 was abandoned due to stability issues and was replaced by the so called Edge Trem, which Ibanez/Hoshino licensed from Floyd Rose and applied some optimizations which make it one of the most stable trems I’ve seen up to now.
The guitar is all original, except one change I apply to all of my guitars as soon as the enter my home: Schaller Security Locks.
In 2010 I purchased the sister model ’87 AR350PLT which can be seen here:

The AR350 was available in three different finishes:
– Fire Red FR
– Polar White
– Marine Sunburst
and was discontinued in 1987.
